Without action, you are lucky. With action, you create your luck. Prosperity Quote"There are many roads to prosperity, but one must be taken. Inaction leads nowhere. -Robert Zoellick"Personal Prosperity LessonI am not sure if this is as much a personal prosperity lesson as it is an observation. With the messaging from my latest funnel, I have attracted many a person who is looking to start a business. While marketing is not my wheelhouse, one element is part of my wheelhouse: the mindset. One of the greatest things that gets in people's way is how they think about prosperity. I have definitely been there. Sometimes the challenge is someone is coming off of a low paying job. Other times people are trying to get away from a job that is burning them out. Sometimes people are looking to make a contribution but can't see a way forward. A year ago, my own mindset was getting in my way as well. One of the best ways to move forward is to deal with the mindset. If one is really committed to something, they will move mountains to make it happen. They will make mistakes, they will take calculated risks, they will give it their all with nothing held back. A prime example of this is Kobe Bryant. While Kobe, in some respects, could be considered a bit controversial, he also had a brilliant mind. HIs focus, regardless of what happened, is how can he get better? What can he learn from a failure? He would look at the long term goal and then break the goal down into smaller and smaller actionable steps. What little thing can he improve today that will make a difference? Then, he would practice over and over until he had that one skill down. He was an ordinary basketball player turned extraordinary because he was continually focused on what he could improve every day. He also put in a a lot of time to improve. His focus and discipline paid off. He became a NBA player straight out of high school. He won 5 championships. He started out as wanting to be the best basketball player he could be. Then, he evolved into wanting to inspire others. He used that same mindset as a business owner. Then, he also won an Academy Award. What is one small action you can take today that will enhance your prosperity? What is your vision? Creating Prosperity brings you creative ideas on radiating your inner prosperity. You can use the ideas that work best for you. If you like this e-zine and want to contribute to a friend, please forward this e-zine to them.
