A Holistic Prosperity Perspective

Welcome to the next edition of the Create Prosperity newsletter! Since the last issue, I have been delving into the more spiritual aspect of prosperity. I take you behind the scenes of some of the tools and perspectives I have.

What's New

Good day!

Different lesson for the day. Depending on how things go, in April, I may change the frequency of these emails to be less unless there is something you really want to see.

One thing I am thinking about - that is much further down the line - is creating a program around spiritual prosperity and having people create their roadmap even if it is not business related.

Whenever I do that, I will make sure I share snippets in here. That may be more relevant to what you are looking for.

In the meantime, I think I will keep Monday's more spiritually oriented.

Personal Prosperity Lesson

I think today's prosperity lesson is more in the realm of the inner game vs. the results you can see out in the world.

I was recently participating in a leadership program that I ended up loving. What would leadership have to do with prosperity? Turns out a lot.

One of the challenges that I was personally dealing with was that I did not always trust the people above me. It can be a common theme depending on what area of work you are in.

My goal was to protect either myself or the people I was leading/collaborating with or all of the above. Part of that was a function of having some pretty challenging circumstances with past leaders that did not leave myself or other team members empowered.

No one starts their day thinking about how they can disempower people, and it can happen unintentionally. I think the biggest lesson that I learned was to really be fully present with another person. It sometimes requires really moving to the side any judgments or thoughts and standing shoulder to shoulder with people.

When you can stand shoulder to shoulder with someone, there is an opportunity for partnership. There are times when not every leader is open to partnership, and that is okay. Knowing that then allows you to determine what next actions you are willing or not willing to take.

I think the biggest take away was that the game of leadership includes a whole range of leaders that we can partner with or not: the bad, the good and everything in between. I personally don't mind if someone is bad or somewhere in between as long as they are willing to learn and open to new perspectives. If they aren't, I can now be okay with that.

I can now give grace to people wherever they are in their leadership journey. Given that I am coaching current and future business owners, that is really important as business owners are leaders in their own right.

Interestingly, how I experienced even my dad was totally different when I gave him grace. Having a different experience of family was an added bonus.

While this did not cover financial prosperity, I did get prosperity (thriving) with leaders and family in a whole new way.

Where are you thriving today?
